VOCATIONAL SERVICES

Adult Development

This program provides vocational training for persons who require a higher level of care than is available through other Hope Haven programs.

 

Part of the Woodlake ICF/ID, individuals receiving services must have a primary diagnosis of a mental disability and must be certified by the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care to be in need of this level of service.

Unterkircher Program

The purpose of the Unterkircher Program is to provide individualized services to adults of all ages. Services include TEACCH training and day habilitation. This is a closely supervised program that includes group activities and community integration.

The Unterkircher Program has exceptional expertise in working with individuals with communication deficits and related behavior problems. Participants can attend full days or part time, Monday - Friday.

MOTTS PROGRAM

The MOTTS program is located in Wapello, Iowa, serving adults of all ages in the Louisa County area. Services are primarily day habilitation services funded through the ID Wavier and BI wavier. Participants can attend full days or a part of a day.

 

MOTTS program offers assistance with cooking, safety, living skills, and social interaction. The caring staff assist participants in life skills in areas of self-esteem, self-awareness, decision making, and self- confidence. There are activities to establish new friendships and participate in community outings.

Flexible Services

FHope Haven Flexible Services is a day program in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, serving adult individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and physical disabilities. 

 

We offer a caring environment with trained professional staff which provide direct supervision, training, and support to our consumers.  Services include: day habilitation and day program services. 

 

Flex offers assistance with life skills in areas of self-esteem, self-awareness, decision making, and self-confidence.  There are activities to establish new friendships and participate in the community. Participants can attend full days or part time, Monday through Friday.

Lee County Drop-In Center

The purpose of the drop-in center is to provide a safe and supportive environment for Lee County adults with disabilities.

 

The drop-in center primarily offers opportunities to increase social, communication, and recreational skills. The environment is very relaxed with minimal structure.

 

A monthly calendar of events is developed that may include games, special guests or speakers, and community events. The drop-in center is open Monday through Friday 12:00 - 7:00.

Lee County Drop-In Center is located at 605 S. 7th St., Ft. Madison, Iowa.

MOTTS Drop-in Center

The purpose of the Drop-In Center is to provide a safe and supportive environment for Louisa County adults with disabilities.

 

The MOTTS Center offers opportunities to increase social, communication, and recreational skills.

 

This supportive environment is very relaxed with minimal structure. A snack and free meal will be provided. Hours are 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Motts is located at 221 S. Main, Wapello, Iowa.
