Adult Respite Services
These services are open to any person with a disability, and is not limited to those receiving other services from this department or any other Hope Haven department. The members participate in choosing outings each month, and planning the cost and arrangements of the outings. Hope Haven staff provides supervision. These services are funded generally through ID-Waiver. Efforts are made to use low-cost or free activities whenever possible.
Friday Night "Respite on Wheels"
Every week from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Respite on Wheels provides persons with disabilities the opportunity to get “out and about” on a regular basis. The emphasis of the service is to promote socialization and community involvement. Activities can include: dining out, community events, movies, and games.
Hope Haven staff provides transportation and supervision.
Wednesday Night Respite
Every week from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday night Respite Services provides persons with disabilities the opportunity to get “out and about” on a regular basis. The emphasis of the service is to promote socialization. Activities can include: community events, movies and games.
Transportation is not provided on Wednesday nights. Assistance is provided, although skill training is not.
